Individual Food Service has extensive experience providing service to every type of food service industry. IFS, located in Bell, CA has over 90 years of experience providing quality goods to clients large and small. We are seeking dependable and friendly Class B delivery drivers who can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries.Starting Pay: $26.65 Hourly Pay RateDuties and Responsibilities:Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehiclePick-up loads and organize goods in an ordered, logical mannerEnsure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damageSafely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinationsStay on a predetermined route and ensure timely deliveriesCommunicate with dispatch as neededConfirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest documentPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripNotify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encounteredMaintain detailed driving and delivery logsComply with ICC and DOT regulations Requirements and Qualifications:Valid Class B driver's license requiredHighschool or GED equivalent requiredExperience with Local Deliveries/inside deliveriesExperience driving Straight truck (bobtail 24ft to 26ft) Manual transmission preferredAble to use lift gate, operate pallet jacks.
